Orange Belt!!!!!!!!

I DID IT!!!!! I got my orange belt!!!!!
So did mommy and daddy, I was very proud of me.
This is my teacher Mr. Shay and he is a second degree black belt and he is a very good teacher.

I was so excited when I got it.

Here Mr Shay is giving me my orange belt and he tied it really tight, and you have to hold you old belt above your head.

Orange Belt???

Ok so today I took my test in Tang Soo Do, it is martial arts that mommy and daddy and I take. I hope that I passed and will be an orange belt soon. But it was really hard but mommy and daddy said I did good. The great part was at the end when we got to try and break a board with our foot. Mommy went first and she did it on her second try, then it was daddy's turn and he did it first try, then it was my turn and I was really scared but guess what, I did it!!!!! We will let everyone know when we get our test results, Mr. Shay said we should know by next Tuesday.

Back to the Grind

Well today was my first day back to school, (GRRRRRRRR). I got a lot of homework tonight, reading, math, vocabulary, rocket math, whew I don't know if I can do it all, just kidding it will be OK I am going to get in all done in no time. Mommy also has me doing the dishes after dinner now and I like to play in the suds. Then after that it is off to the shower and to bed, I wonder if daddy will read me 1 story or 2 tonight?

I am back

Well it has been a busy couple of months for me. I started to take gymnastic but I had to leave that when I broke my thumb in October, I had to go to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh to have it checked. Because it was healing funny, but now everything is good. But I have not gone back to gymnastics because I found something I love to do even better and that is martial arts, I started that with mommy and daddy in October and we have a lot of fun but boy is it hard. Mommy, daddy and I are going to test for our orange belts on January 15, so wish us luck.
Also I have been really busy with school, first grade is a lot harder that kindergarten, I have a lot more homework every night. But the good thing is that I am reading on a second grade level and am getting straight A's so far. So I guess doing all that homework and working hard is school pays off.
We had a great Christmas and I got lots of toys. That Santa is a good guy I think I will keep him around for a little while longer. Well I think that is enough for now, I will try to post more often. I love you all and Happy New Year from Emily!!!!!

A Fish Tail

Yesterday was the worst day. After I went to church with mommy and nanny and pa and Patrick and Logan, we came home and played. But then mommy looked at my fish that I got at the end of the school year for getting good grades and not getting into trouble, and one of them was dead. It was the pink fish named Carly. I was really sad and was crying. But mommy gave me lots of hugs and kisses and helped me. She told me that this was a part of life and that it was the sad part, but it was ok to cry. But then my day got better, because when daddy got home from he said we could go to get another fish. So off to Wal-Mart we went and got 2 new fish and I named them Eleni and Dinah, after 2 of my friends.

Pumpkin Update

It has only been a few days and the pumpkin is growing and changing a lot, here is a few more pictures of it.

This it the pumpkin that started from my pumpkins last year. Mommy and daddy never got rid of them so we let them grow and grow and yesterday morning when I got up daddy said he had something to show me, and this is it.I am going to take a picture every week to see how it grows.
